Dining Outdoors in Las Vegas

You might have a misconception about eating outside in Las Vegas. It is warm but don’t think that an outdoor meal is uncomfortable. In fact, after you sit outside you’ll want to have every meal out in the open.  In the middle of summer, cool mist and cold drinks keep the temperature down.  In Las Vegas, eating al fresco just adds to the atmosphere.

Romance is the main course at Costa Di Mare at Wynn Las Vegas. The seafood is seductive, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is suggestive.  A spot on their outdoor space will set the bar so high that outdoor dining anywhere will be ruined forever. When the food arrives your idea of fresh seafood will only be challenged by a fishing trip with a world-class chef where you would actually eat on the boat.  The freshest fish, the utmost care in preparation and the flavors that blow you away.

Lago at Bellagio Las Vegas, this restaurant at Bellagio offers patio seating with probably the best view of the fountains and the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas. Italian small plates are on the menu along with fine cocktails and an extensive wine list.  If you seek sexy, this is your spot serving lunch and dinner. The patio is a tough table to get however inside there are plenty of seats with great views overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

Rivea, step up to the Delano Hotel located as an annex to Mandalay Bay.  Rivea is a restaurant with a Mediterranean accent and views as far as the eye can see. This relatively new restaurant features fresh farm to table ideas with Mediterranean influences from Chef Alain Ducasse.  Get a spot on the patio and you will be treated to a Las Vegas evening that few would not envy. Your evening does not end with dinner, Skyfall Lounge located right next door gives you the great views with great cocktails and a great place to mingle long after your meal.

Lakeside at Wynn Las Vegas, you can sit right beside a lake that is a few feet from the strip and feel like you are a world away from the chaos of Las Vegas.  Yes, you will see a show on the Lake of dreams while you have dinner. Lakeside Seafood boasts a seafood program that includes fresh fish flown in daily from Hawaii specifically for this menu. Their boat to table program is among the very best anywhere.  They have a fisherman in Maui who goes out and catches the fish for the menu and then sends pictures to the chef right before he ships it to the restaurant. There is a good chance that if you are planning to visit Lakeside tomorrow, that boat is heading back to the dock with your meal right now.

Mon Ami Gabi, if you don’t think breakfast is important, be ready to change your mind. Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas does breakfast with a view. Sit out on the patio and you’ll be treated to a show. People watching, Bellagio fountains and the southern Nevada climate all play center stage.  Dinner here means the show across the street in the form of the Fountains of Bellagio and an endless parade of party people having a blast on the Las Vegas Strip.   The menu is French, the atmosphere is Las Vegas.
